Lei joined VantagePoint as a Principal in the Emerging Markets Group. Prior to VPVP, Lei was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company focusing on the high-tech industry. Lei's clients at McKinsey included Fortune 500 companies across the high-tech value chain: wafer fab equipments, memory/discrete/logic/microprocessor device manufactures, networking/storage equipment manufactures, software and IT services. In particular, Lei has helped a number of high-tech companies on challenging strategic and operations issues in China (e.g., M&A integration, performance turnaround, sales and distribution, R&D, procurement and manufacturing). Lei is a graduate of Peking University (BS) and University of Wisconsin-Madison (MS and PhD).
