Craig Cooper
Craig is a member of the Information Technology Group where he specializes in consumer Internet, digital media and mobile web investments. Prior to joining VantagePoint in 2007, he was a Partner at SoftBank Capital where he led the West Coast Digital Media and Wireless Investment Group. Craig has more than 20 years of media, wireless and technology industry experience and has founded numerous entrepreneurial and start-up ventures. He was most recently the co- founder of Boost Mobile USA, one of the first Mobile Virtual Network Operator's (MVNO's) to develop a successful business model based on branded wireless services and content. He was also CEO of the former E-world Technologies Limited (Australia's largest PDA retail and enterprise software company) and was previously a partner in the largest independent mobile retail distribution company in Australia. Earlier in his career, he co-founded NRG Asia-Pacific, an energy company that ultimately became one of the largest independent power producers in Australia with over AUD$5.5 billion in assets. He was also a founding principal of Private Energy Partners, which developed and owned energy projects throughout Australia and Indonesia. He has a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Laws (Honors) from the University of Sydney.
